Basic Info:

  • We should meet prior to scheduling a shoot. This will allow a little time to think of ideas for your look and personality.
  • Escorts are welcome; however, boyfriends/girlfriends are encouraged not to escort due to emotional conflicts, which may arise due to the nature of the shoot.
  • A hair stylist and make-up artist is available for certain types of shoots where something complex is planned and is dependent upon their availability. Otherwise, these will be your responsibility.
  • Wardrobe is your responsibility unless other arrangements were previously discussed between you and I.
  • I do not promise a set number of images. That doesn't mean you will not get any images. Some of my projects such as underwater work do not produce a great amount of images but you will receive the good ones. I do not give a cd of every image I took, just the best ones after touch-up if needed.
  • I will give all agreed-upon images to you on a CD or through email. If you wish to receive prints then the cost of those prints will be paid for by you, not me. I will not give the negatives to you, I will get the prints for you.
  • Be on time and do not cancel. Being late can reduce the amount of time we have to work together and can sometimes cause me to cancel the shoot due to time restraints of myself, the hair stylist or make-up artists. This wastes everyones time so please be prompt.

    Q & A:

    Q: Do you charge?
A: The only time I charge for a shoot is when I'm doing work that I will not be able to use in my online portfolio. If you are wishing to do photos for a boyfriend, friend or for commercial use then feel free to contact me for rates. I prefer to keep my work to TFP.

Q: Are you looking for new models?
A: I'm always looking for new models though I don't get a chance to work with all the models I meet. Sadly, this is only a hobby so I have a job, a family and limited time to devote to my photography. This doesn't mean I don't at least try to work with new models towards doing a shoot. It simply means I have to be selective in how I use my available time. If location or time frame doesn't work for myself or the model then the shoot may not happen.

Q: Do I have to pose nude?
A: Of course not. My work is not limited to fetish, erotica or artistic nudes. I do everything from portfolio head shots to fashion. What I photograph is the models personality and that shows even when clothing is involved and in some cases, even more so.

Q: Can I meet you before we agree to shoot?
A: I insist on meeting models before we even discuss a shoot date simply because I prefer to know who I'm going to be working with. It gives us a chance to brain storm and get comfortable with each other before the camera gets involved. Out of town models are not required to meet me personally before we shoot but details should be worked out in email or over the phone before the shoot.

Q: Can I bring someone with me to the shoot?
A: Models are always welcome to bring along a friend or family member to shoots. In some situations, it is even alright to bring along your boyfriend. I reserve the right to say no about the boyfriend coming along depending on the type of shoot we are doing. I have had boyfriend get jealous or upset during shoots while others get involved and help with ideas or equipment.

Q: How will you use the photos?
A: TFP shoots are used in my online portfolio as well as gallery showings and offered for sale to fans. I do occasionally sell a print for limited right usage such as one photo that was sold to the lincoln park zoo for a fund raiser. Any time one of my photos is used for commercial use, I always get permission from the model before hand. If you do not agree to me using your photos in this way, please feel free to email me regarding rates for paid shoots giving you full rights.

Q: Will you pay me to model for you?
A: I never pay models unless the work is specifically commercial and I am being hired to produce specific photos for a company or organization. I tend to use models I already know when doing this. This is a hobby and I definately spend more money on it then I have ever made so I cannot afford to pay models unless I am being paid as well.

Q: What if I'm late or have to cancel the shoot?
A: The first time this happens is alright. The second time this happens, will be the last. The time I have to devote to my photography is limited and I always have models to work with. When a model cancels a shoot it wastes my time and the time of other models who are waiting to work with me as well as the time of any people I have recruited to help with the shoot such as hair stylists and make-up artists.
